AMITA UPPAL

Ms. Amita Uppal is an experienced educator with over 40 years of teaching expertise in English, Social Studies, and Psychology, working with high school students in both India and the USA., and holds multiple degrees and certifications, including a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education. Amita has taught at renowned institutions such as San Carlos Secondary School and San Carlos Apache College in Arizona, as well as several prestigious schools in India, including St. Stephen’s School and Yadvindra Public School. 

Throughout her career, Amita has been actively involved in curriculum development, extracurricular activities, and student counseling. She has served in various capacities such as a reading specialist, instructional coach, and test coordinator, with a passion for fostering both academic and personal growth in her students. Amita is also proficient in integrating technology into education, with strong skills in platforms like Schoology and Canvas, as well as online teaching certification through Quality Matters.
