DONNA ANTONIO

Mrs. Antonio is the athletic director at San Carlos High School.  She has been with the San Carlos Unified School District for 23 years.  After earning her Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education (K-12 Physical Education) from NAU in 1997, she went on receive her Masters degree in Educational Leadership (NAU, 2002).  Through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) she is a Registered Athletic Administrator, as well as a Registered Middle School Athletic Administrator.

Mrs. Antonio is a proud Dine(Navajo) woman of the Bitter Water clan born for the Edge Water clan.  She resides in the 7 Mile District of San Carlos with her husband, Terry Antonio, and their 2 dogs.  Her only child, Michael Antonio, is 21 years old and is currently attending college in Glendale, Arizona.  Mrs. Antonio is a proud god-mother to six beautiful children/adults here in the San Carlos/Bylas communities.

In her free time Mrs. Antonio enjoys listening to such varied musical styles as metal (Metallica, AC/DC, Pantera, etc.) and country, as well as 80’s and 90’s music.  She loves to hike and spend time with her families and enjoys relaxing on weekends by just being home.

Her words of wisdom are, "Take the trip, buy the shoes, eat what you need, spend time with your family as much as you can and always pray.  Take care of yourself- body, mind, soul and spirit."
