ANNALIZA CIAR
TEACHER - SCIENCE
I am driven to inspire, care and love. For the last 20+ years as a teacher, I have shared my life not only with my husband, four children, son-in-law, two grandsons and a beautiful and loving family in the Philippines, but with my Biology students from two high schools in my native land and San Carlos High School.
I have become a Biology teacher after earning a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas and a Diploma in Science Teaching with a major in Biology from the University of the Philippines in Los Banos. I have been able to empower my students to put life and its challenges in perspective, scientifically-speaking and in real-life situations.
I work closely with the Arizona Association of Student Councils (AASC) and student leaders as Class Lead Sponsor and StuCo advisor.
I love walking along the California beaches, visiting Kabuki (Mmm lava roll!) and am always looking forward to road tripping along U.S. Highway 101, again and again. Lastly, I am forever a Braves fan!!!
