PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The AgriScience program is designed to prepare students for over 300 career pathways by providing them an overview of the fields of agricultural science, animal science, plant science, and soil science; animal husbandry, soil conservation; and agriculture operations such as farming, ranching, and agriculture business, and natural resources.
The AgriScience instructional program prepares students for entry-level employment, further training, and/or post-secondary education for these and other occupations: Agribusiness Systems, Animal Systems, Biotechnology Systems, Environmental Service Systems, Food Products and Processing Systems, Natural Resources Systems, Plant Systems, Power, Structural and Technical Systems, and Agriculture Education.
INDUSTRY CREDENTIALS: The following credentials have been approved for the A-F CCR and are CTED eligible for the AgriScience instructional program:

- American Meat Science Association Food Safety and Science Certification
- Arizona Agriculture Skills & Competencies Certificate
- Arizona Certified Nursery Professional (ACNP)
- BASF Plant Science Certification
- Benz School of Floral Design Principles of Floral Design Certification
- Certified Veterinary Assistant
- Elanco Veterinary Medical Applications Certification
- Elanco Fundamentals of Animal Science Certification.
- National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) - Snap-On - Horticulture
- OSHA 10 - Agriculture

“Future Farmers of America” (FFA) was founded to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet those challenges by helping its members to explore their interests in a broad range of career pathways, including biologists, chemists, veterinarians, engineers, and entrepreneurs.
